Expected Slugging
The slugging a hitter's contact deserved.
What it actually is. Expected slugging: the same idea as expected batting average, but scoring each batted ball by the bases it usually produces.
What a scout reads off it. The clearest way to see a power hitter who is being robbed by a deep park, or one being flattered by a shallow one.
