Weighted Runs Above Average
Runs a hitter added above an average hitter in the same playing time.
What it actually is. Weighted runs above average: how many runs a hitter created above what a league-average hitter would have in the same number of trips.
What a scout reads off it. The counting version of weighted on-base average, which means playing time is inside it. It is the piece that goes into wins above replacement on the hitting side.
