Left on Base
Runners still on base when the inning ends.
What it actually is. Runners still standing on the bases when the inning ended.
What a scout reads off it. As a team number it is mostly a measure of traffic: clubs that get a lot of men on leave a lot of men on. A high figure alongside a lot of runs is a good offense, not a wasteful one.
