Hold
A reliever who holds a save-spot lead and hands it on.
What it actually is. A reliever entered with a lead, recorded at least one out, and handed the lead on without finishing the game.
What a scout reads off it. The hold exists because the save left the seventh and eighth innings unmeasured. It is a rough count of setup work rather than a measure of quality.
