Junior College
About 500 programs across NJCAA divisions and the California system
What it actually is. The most important level in this whole list and the least understood. Two years to grow, get seen, fix your swing or add velocity, and then transfer.
The money. NJCAA Division I junior colleges offer full rides. This is often the cheapest path there is.
The part nobody tells you. A junior college player is draft eligible every year, unlike a four-year player who has to wait until he is 21 or a junior. That is a real structural advantage and hardly anybody knows about it.
The eligibility rule almost nobody knows. From a junior college, every single year. This is the exception almost nobody knows about, and it is a real reason to consider that route.
