2024 College World Series
Tennessee over Texas A&M at Charles Schwab Field Omaha.
What happened. Tennessee won the 2024 College World Series, beating Texas A&M in the final, under Tony Vitello. It was played at Charles Schwab Field Omaha, Omaha.
Where it sits. Tennessee has won the College World Series once, and this is it. Texas A&M has never won one. Reaching the final is as close as that program has come.
What the tournament looked like that year. Same path, but the championship becomes a best-of-three series. That format ran from 2003 through present.
The ballpark. Opened as TD Ameritrade Park and renamed in December 2021 after Schwab bought Ameritrade. Same building.
